Engraving a design into wax is a skill that I think is crucial to learn and the potential variations are endless! In my Engraved Pendant class, you can learn how to create your shape, transfer an image, and engrave a detailed design into your wax.

It's great to start with letters and then work your way up to more complicated imagery.

My biggest tips for engraving:
Start with a perfectly smooth surface before you engrave. Be sure to get those scratches and tool marks out!

You can free-hand your drawing directly onto your wax using an extra fine tipped sharpie if you don't want to transfer an image.

I highly recommend using magnification, like an optivisor. Don’t strain your eyes!
