Diamonds have a long history of being a prized and sought-after stone. Some ancient civilizations believed lightning formed them, while others thought they were tears of God. Diamonds are the hardest natural material on earth – 58 times harder than anything else occurring naturally! It's the only gem made of one single element, carbon.
I love to find the beauty in imperfection, so while diamonds are often elaborately cut, I use stones that are rough or simply faceted. Regardless of the cut, diamonds always have a special sparkle.
